Xenical (Orlistat) is used to help obese people who fit certain weight and height requirements lose weight and maintain weight loss.
Dose of xenical [15%], benzylmorphine [20 ppm] (all doses were administered via mouth) and nitrous oxide (10 minutes). The subjects were monitored at every visit for signs of distress. All the drugs were tested in a blind fashion, including the other drugs reported in detail elsewhere [3]. All participants received a pre-treatment baseline assessment, and they received an open trial (as described above) to assure that they were using the prescribed opioid medications at beginning of the study. As this was a pilot study, the subjects were fully reassured that the drug treatments they would receive not differ significantly from the drug treatments that they had received prior to the baseline measurements.
